About Rock Creek Rescue

Founded with a mission to save lives and create lasting bonds between animals and families, Rock Creek Rescue seeks to be a beacon of hope for animals in need of help.

Our Story

Rock Creek Rescue began as a grassroots effort by a group of passionate animal lovers who couldn't stand to see animals suffering in their community. What started as 1-Woman show has grown into a full-service 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Today, we operate with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, providing comprehensive rescue services, medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, and adoption services. Our facility includes basic medical care, comfortable housing, and spaces for animals to recover and thrive.

Every animal that comes through our doors receives individualized care, from emergency medical treatment to behavioral training, ensuring they're ready to become beloved family members.
